The rack of lamb is ideal if you're looking for an impressive dish; perfect to serve at the table and carve in front of your guests.

For best results, we recommend starting the rack of lamb in the pan and finishing it off in the oven.

Southdown lambs are bred purely for their meat and graze particularly well on the chalk ground of the South Downs. Goodwood have previously won Gold Stars in the Great Taste Awards for their leg of lamb and shoulder of lamb.

Goodwood's pedigree Southdown sheep are successfully shown nationally by their award winning shepherd, Nick Page, continuing a tradition long held by the Dukes of Richmond, who have been patrons of the Southdown Sheep Society for generations.
