Organic Shin of Beef (500g)

This cut of beef is ideal for braising and would work well in any sort or stew or casserole Perfect for midweek - put in the the slow cooker and do not worry about it for the day. This is a great cut to use for pulled beef.

Goodwood's cattle are bred to give high quality cuts of award winning meat with an exceptional marbling of fat. As all our beef is hung for 28 days, it produces a lovely flavour and deep colour. They have previously won Gold Stars in the Great Taste Awards for our fillet and sirloin. 

The beautiful deep-red Sussex, our beef cattle, thrive on the chalk downland, having been farmed on the land at Goodwood for centuries. Their cattle are fed on forage grown on the estate; this is a mix of clovers, oats, whole crop barley, whole crop silages and wheat, beans and vetches.
